  Steel Shot blasting media is made from high carbon steel and treated to give durability and resistance.
  This media has extensive applications in general industry for the removal of scale, rust and surface contaminant.
  Steel abrasives are very popular with foundries for de-burring or de-flashing of castings and cleaning moulds. 
  When used with a blast cabinet little effluent or pollution are produced.

• Chilled Iron Grit
  Chilled Iron is a metallic cast iron granular abrasive produced by crushing iron shot to various sizes.
  This media is generally used for producing a profile on steel substrates.
  It is best used in blast rooms where it can be recycled efficiently
  
  Chilled iron can only be used in blast room on ferrous items. Chilled iron is used to shot blast steel items, such as car parts, steel beams, tanks. Chilled iron can be recycled.

• Aluminium Oxide

  Obtained from the fusion of calcined alumina in electric arc furnaces.
  This sharp, fast-cutting, very hard abrasive is effective in media blasting, glass etching and surface preparation.
  In the cosmetics industry, Microdermabrasion Crystals are used for exfoliation creams and skin treatments.

• Glass Beads
  Glass beads are a mineral, iron-free reusable abrasive with a wide range of applications. Due to their (round) grain shape, they have a low abrasive effect and are therefore ideally suited for a gentle cleaning. Our customers appreciate the special ability of the glass beads to create a silky matte surface finish. Glass beeds are frequently used for a wide range of application.

• Expendable Blast Media
  

  Garnet is suitable above all for blasting applications in the open, as a disposable blasting media
  for the removal of existing coatings, rust and other impurities, and is a very low-cost blasting media.
  It is a natural sand alternative with an aggressive effect.
  Because of the iron content, this blasting media should not be used on stainless steel or
  non-ferrous metals.
  Garnet is a reusable blasting media with angular particles, which also has an iron content.
